Why I choose Architecture

 Architecture was my first option when I postulated to the university,but this career not always take that place in my mind.

When I was in 8th grade, in technology my teacher asked us investigating an object and redesign it to become more useful for the user. With my partner we chose the fork and we transform the part that is used to eat a way that it could turn with a motor. The miss liked our work very much, and in that moment I thought I could be engineering or even studying robotics; However, for different reasons, I decided to think of other careers.

Eventually I started noticing the things I'm great doing, also the activities that I liked and bored to me. For example, I knew I had skills for the drawing and I liked it to use my head to search for solutions to problems or return the most practical things; On the other hand, I hated when I had to memorize terms or words (as in science or english). However, for a while I rejected the idea of choose architecture because I felt it was a too "intelligent" career for me, because people reminded me how complicated it was.

It may seem like a little childish, but the reason that made me be sure to choose this career was to know a YouTuber called "Ter", with her videos I noticed that I actually liked the architecture, because made me realize that it included things that seemed very interesting (physics themes, the use of space, imagine things in three-dimension, the composition or the search of usefulness), which is wider than I thought and that is actually the career closest to what I am. In fact, the first drawing that I made in my life was a house lol
